Oct 24, 2025 · Peterborough Elementary SchoolPreschool Chalk the WalkToday, the entire school got outside for an activity called "Chalk the Walk". It's purpose was to have students write and draw positive pictures and messages on the school grounds for all to read and enjoy. Pictured is some of our preschoolers taking part in the fun!

Oct 17, 2025 · Peterborough Elementary SchoolRead for the RecordOn Friday October 17th, PES participated in Jumpstart’s 20th anniversary celebration of Read for the Record. To celebrate 20 years of wonderful books, Jumpstart has chosen See Marcus Grow as this year's read! Students then went outside and planted daffodil bulbs around our school (just like Marcus helped do in the book) that they will be able to see grow and pop up next spring!
Oct 16, 2025 · Peterborough Elementary SchoolKindergarten Field Trip DowntownOn Thursday October 16th our kindergarteners took a field trip into our very own Peterborough community! They have been learning all about community helpers, and during the trip, they got to see them in action. They visited the fire station, stopped by the post office to mail postcards, and enjoyed a snack together in beautiful Putnam Park. A big thank you to the Peterborough Fire Department for welcoming them in, showing them around, and sending them all home with our very own fire hats!
